Theme: Peace in Chaos
Day 1 of 31
Day 1 — Finding Peace When the Mind Is Loud
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
There are moments when the noise of life is overwhelming and the peace we were promised feels completely out of reach. In these times, we are called not to manufacture our own peace, but to remember the Anchor we are tethered to.
Jesus didn't promise an absence of storms, He promised His presence within them. Like the disciples in the boat, our panic doesn't change His power. His word alone is enough to calm the wind and the waves. When peace feels distant, draw near to the Prince of Peace, bringing your anxieties before Him as they are, untethered and unbroken.
"Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. It is the belief that God will do what is right."
Where have you been seeking peace apart from God this week? Make a list of the specific 'storms' you need to invite Him into.
True peace is a Person, not a state of circumstances.
